I hope you have enjoyed the September episodes of The Jewish Drinking Show on Making Cocktails On Shabbat with Dan Rabinowitz, Talmudic Parables of Wine with Looks with Dr. Elana Stein Hain, and The Term חבורה in Tannaitic (Early Rabbinic) Literature with Dr. Orit Malka.
As we are in the midst of the fall holidays of Tishrei, this is understandably a tough time to publish episodes. As such, the next episode will publish on October 25th, which will feature Dr. Pinchas Roth of Bar-Ilan University speaking on Medieval Rabbis of Provence and Languedoc on Wine, followed the next week on November 1st with Dr. Jon Greenberg of Torah Flora speaking on Pharoah’s Drinksmaster and Baker as wine vs beer.
We will then take a break from publishing for the first-ever Booze in the Holy Land trip. We will also take a break for Thanksgiving. That first Tuesday following Thanksgiving, however, will have a new episode on November 29th, featuring Dr. Sonat Birnecker Hart of Koval Distillery speaking on her distillery.
Stay tuned for the tentative December lineup of episodes. In the meantime, I wish you a wonderful season of fall holidays and I hope you enjoy these episodes.
