Since having published “Looking to Buy Kosher Vermouth in the US?” nearly four years ago, there have been quite a lot of changes in the market(!). Since that post, Kedem’s vermouths and Promised Land Beverage Company’s vermouths are no longer in production, so what is there available now?
As discussed in the 187th episode of The Jewish Drinking Show, there are now several options out there, all of them better than the options available to us four years ago.
True, one of the vermouths available then is still available now: Hajdu still produces their vermouth, about which you can hear more here with the vintner.
Further products available:
- Lovatelli produces a bianco vermouth and a rosso vermouth – For more on these, you can hear more here with the vintner.
- Twin Suns produces a sweet vermouth and a rosso vermouth – For more on these, you can hear more about them from Mendy Mark.
- Dalton produces an extra dry vermouth.
- Yzaguirre has a red vermouth.
While you cannot find these brands all over the country, you can check kosher stores to see what they carry. Additionally, they are available at online retailers, including KosherWine.com (where you can receive a discount).
